Bajaj Housing Finance's substantial ₹6,560-crore IPO, which began on Monday, September 9, was fully subscribed in under four hours. High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) have already oversubscribed their reserved portion, while the retail quota is approaching full subscription. The company secured ₹1,758 crore from anchor investors on Friday. The ₹6,560-crore initial share sale will close on September 11.
As of 2:00 PM, the IPO had garnered bids for over 72.59 crore shares on both NSE and BSE. The Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category has been subscribed 2.28 times, while the Retail Individual Investors (RII) portion is 97% subscribed. The IPO is priced between ₹66 and ₹70 per share and includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹3,560 crore, along with an offer-for-sale (OFS) of ₹3,000 crore by the parent company, Bajaj Finance.
As of September 9, Bajaj Housing Finance shares are trading at a grey market premium (GMP) of ₹51 per share, reflecting a premium of 73% in the unlisted market.
